Estonian Theatre Festival DRAAMA 2020
Through years foreign guests have been part of Drama festival. They have participated in the work of international jury in the early years, visited Baltic Theatre Festival programmes as delegates, and participated the festival as guests.

The aim of the foreign guest programme is not necessarily to promote theatre export or establish international relations, but to give Estonian theatre an outside view. Regardless, Drama has been the starting platvorm to many festival invitations for Estonian theatres and troups as well as for international collaboration with theatres and artists abroad.

At Drama 2019 foreign guests have the chance to visit performances with English translation and give feedback in panel discussions.

Festival performances with English translation:
  • LIFE AND LOVE (Endla Theatre)
  • BEFORE LEAVING (Tallinn City Theatre)
  • DECAMERON (VAT Theatre)
  • THE LITTLE PRINCE (Tallinn City Theatre)
  • AV MARIA (Theatre KELM)
  • JAIK (Von Krahl Theatre)
Festival performances with English annotation:
  • MOBILE DEFINITIONS (Tartu New Theatre)
  • PERFORMANCE @GEN (Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava (STL))
  • KALEVIPOEG (Vanemuine)
The discussion panels take place Thursday-Saturday at 11AM at Tartu New Theatre. Everyone is welcome.
